Afrofuturismo e ciências: uma revisão bibliográfica em periódicos nacionais e internacionais (2008 - 2023)

O afrofuturismo é um movimento artístico, estético e político que parte da literatura de ficção científica e se expande para outras áreas do conhecimento. De maneira geral, as produções afrofuturistas recriam um futuro em que as pessoas negras são protagonistas e utilizam de ciências e tecnologias para promover liberdade e existência. Elementos científicos e tecnológicos são obrigatórios nas narrativas afrofuturistas e, recentemente, pesquisadoras e pesquisadores da área de Ensino de Ciências utilizaram o afrofuturismo como ponto de partida para pensar a natureza das ciências ou propor atividades em sala de aula. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a presença do afrofuturismo como proposta de ensino e pesquisa na área de Ensino de Ciências por meio da publicação de artigos em periódicos nacionais e internacionais nos últimos 15 anos.
