Resumo

Este trabalho trata de uma educação filosófica que passa pelos quadrinhos. Tem por objetivo geral explicitar a filosofia inerente às histórias em quadrinhos da DC Comics, em especial tratar das implicações do conceito de Fonte. Como problema, temos a introdução de uma fonte primordial para os personagens dos quadrinhos, que ganha uma forte distinção ética e polarização radical, o que leva à utilização de um conteúdo filosófico e metafísico aplicado de forma direta com desdobramentos que se complexificam exageradamente, levando a novos questionamentos sobre sua natureza inicial. Como hipótese, temos que, apesar da divisão inicial dos Novos Deuses de Jack Kirby em polarização radical, existe uma ênfase na fusão entre pólos distintos. O viés suscitado em nossa hipótese ganha mais consistência em Jim Starlin, quando este sugere que a Fonte e a equação antivida fariam parte de um mesmo princípio único. Outras polarizações decorrentes da Fonte, como a contraposição entre Destino sombrio e Justiça também são abordados no trabalho.
