DUCROT; CAREL, 2005; DUCROT, 1988), in statements related to the prohibition of wage differences and acceptance criteria, to workers with and without disabilities, present in the Brazilian Constitution of 1988. This concept necessarily involves words that participate in distinct semantic blocks, discrimination, with the aspect DISCRIMINAÇÃO PT NEGATIVA (i.e., DISCRIMINATION THEREFORE NEGATIVE), as opposed to equality, IGUALDADE PT POSITIVA (i.e., EQUALITY therefore POSITIVE). However, the data indicate that such semantic opposition assumed in these statements those a unique presentation of DISCRIMINAÇÃO NE IGUALDADE (DISCRIMINATION however EQUALITY), highlighting that, legally, to equalize possibilities is sometimes necessary to discriminate, even if positively.
KEYWORDS: Semantics.
