Abstract

The power principle and beyond. The gregarious generalities of power (the State, Class conflict, the Contract, the General will etc.). The return to the political materialism. The concept of Political Continent. The little (r) object. The three “beyond” of Laruelle. Mario Bruno, State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ/Brazil); Fluminense Federal University (UFF/Brazil)

Mario Bruno graduated in Arts from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1984); graduated in Philosophy from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1996); Master in Letters from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1989); PhD in Letters from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1996); holds a PhD in Psychology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003). He is a professor/researcher at the Universidade Federal Fluminense. He is an adjunct professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He has experience in the fields of Letters and Philosophy. He works with the following themes: philosophy and literature; philosophy and clinic; philosophy and education; politics and creation; ethics and freedom. Conducts research in the areas of philosophy (Leibniz, Espinoza, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Deleuze, Foucault, Derrida, Agamben, Sloterdijk), contemporary literature (Vergílio Ferreira, Fernanda Botelho, José Saramago), psychoanalysis (Freud, Lacan, Zizek) and in sociology (Bauman, Baudrillard). He coordinated the Master's course in Portuguese Literature at UERJ-2009 and 2010.
