Fluidez territorial como articuladora del turismo con motivos odontológicos en Molar City (Los Algodones, México).

O turismo de saúde surgiu no século XXI como uma atividade econômica de grande relevância para os países periféricos. Entre suas muitas especialidades, a odontologia é talvez um dos casos mais emblemáticos e levou a Los Algodones, uma cidade na fronteira mexicana, a se tornar um dos destinos preferidos por muitos pacientes. O objetivo deste trabalho é entender como o turismo de saúde organiza essa cidade latino-americana. Através da aplicação de 41 entrevistas semiestruturadas aos agentes envolvidos e viagens de campo, descobriu-se que diferentes núcleos de migração e mobilidade se fundem em uma dinâmica de fluidez territorial que explica por que essa cidade é conhecida como Molar City.
