CopySpider

"CopySpider is a freeware tool for testing documents for the existence of improper copies of other documents available on the internet. A document contains improper copies when it adapts or transcribes excerpts from other documents without complying with the reference citation (bibliographic) standard".

We would like to point out that, in the free version, the similarity check only occurs with one file at a time.

ATTENTION - For those who wish to have CopySpider on their computer, before downloading, you must check if Java is installed and updated on your computer (Desktop or Notebook).

If it is not installed, you can download JAVA by clicking here.

To check if an update is necessary, click on "START" (on the toolbar), move to Java and click on "CHECK FOR UPDATES", click on "UPDATE NOW" in the window that opens.
