Completing a sticker album: a math analysis

Abstract

This paper presents a math analysis regarding the objective of completing a sticker album. The presented results consider an album commercially sold in Brazil in the year 2018 and seek to elucidate how difficult it is to complete it. The results were obtained through computer simulation, so a program in Matlab language was developed for this task. The flowchart of this program is presented in the paper. The validity of the program is corroborated by the comparison between a result obtained through it with the result obtained by other authors.
