Abstract

In this work, we show a simple but illustrative connection between basic concepts of Music Theory and a little bit of Group Theory, specifically the isomorphisms, of order to establish a correspondence (isomorphic) between the set of notes musicals and the group  Z_12. For this purpose, we make a brief introduction about some musical knowledge as well as concepts basic group theory.
