About the Journal
RBBA: Dialogue between the Sciences, is an electronic scientific publication of semiannual and free periodicity and whose scope is the diffusion of unpublished works, national and international, in the form of articles, essays, reviews, interviews, translations and documents resulting from research, analytical discussions on the dialogue between the exact sciences, nature and human-social, disciplinary and interdisciplinary regarding their methodology, theorization and bibliographical references. Objective: (i) to promote the exchange between Brazilian and Argentine Graduate Programs; (ii) to enable dialogue between the various subjects that make up the school curriculum; and, (iii) encourage discussion about the intellectual task of overcoming isolated knowledge and encourage intellectual networks (of individuals and institutions) willing to develop, consolidate and disseminate knowledge among the sciences, from open, free and coordinated perspectives transcending disciplinary, formal and specialized limits, as well as their spaces (national and international), enabling the encounter, coordination, and autonomy of scientific thinking capable to produce questioning about society, its dominant ways of producing science and its uses.

PAIR EVALUATION PROCESS
Publishing exclusively online.
The works received will be analyzed by two referees, according to the blind peer evaluation policy provided for in SEER, in a list composed by external evaluators. If there are incompatibilities between the opinions, the texts will be sent to a third ad hoc referee for a tiebreak;
Reviewers must communicate the possibilities of plagiarism detected in the works they evaluate, as well as keep confidentiality about the works reviewed;
In case of rejection of an article, the reviewer must substantiate his decision;
The reviewer must refuse to issue an opinion when the situation involves conflicts of interest;
Accepted papers will be published in the number of the journal to which they were sent, in order to go through the entire process of time elapsed between the submission / reception of papers and their publication, not exceeding the regular periodicity of the Journal.
DOWNLOAD STATISTICS
The RBBA uses Google Analytics to indicate the download statistics for each published article.
PERSISTENT IDENTIFIERS
Since 2017, the Journal has been using Digital Object Identifiers (DOI), attributing it to each published article, which is seen through the affiliation that the State University of Southwest Bahia has with PILA (Publishers International Linking Association, Inc.), through which the Crossref service assigns the codes.
RBBA does not charge article processing (APCs) / article submission charges.
FREE ACCESS POLICY
This magazine offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater worldwide democratization of knowledge. Licensed Creative Commons Atribuição-NãoComerdial-CompartilharIgual 4.0 Internacional.
CODE OF ETHICS
The RBBA adheres to the national and international codes of ethics of the Guidelines on Good Publication Practice (Committee on Publications Ethics: COPE, https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11298477/), emphasizing the following points:
The Editorial Board is committed to providing clear information on the entire editorial process: the assessment of relevance, the results of peer review and the criteria applied therein. Along with this, it must, at all times, inform the cases in which the received works must be published in the RBBA.
Privacy statement: At no time will the Editorial Board disclose the identity of the authors, reviewers or potential reviewers, as well as any data resulting from works sent to the RBBA, before its publication. Likewise, it will not disclose any information about the content of articles that have not been selected for publication.
The Editorial Board has the power to decide what is published in the RBBA, assessing the originality and importance of university extension in general. Likewise, and if necessary, the Editorial Board can make corrections, clarifications and consider what is published in this journal. It is expressly established that the opinions of the authors are their sole responsibility.
PLAGIAR DETECTION POLICY
The magazine uses software for the detection of plagiarism (https://www.plagius.com/br) in the manuscripts submitted for evaluation.
AUTHORIZATION FOR PUBLICATION OF PAPERS
The texts must be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English, in the ABNT (Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas - Brazilian Association of Technical Standards) standards, always following the principles contained in the editorial standards for publication, in the magazine template, duly identified with the respective (s) ORCID of the author (s).
To publish in this journal, authors must present the publication authorization, as well as the originality of the manuscript:

The content of the manuscript sent for publication must be original and that has not been sent simultaneously, to another journal;
