Reading, school and life project: a interface in the training of basic education students in the 21st Century

Abstract

This text aims to reflect on the importance of the interface between reading, school and the Life Project of Basic Education students in the 21st century. The analyses present in this work are based on the studies on reading presented by Ezequiel Theodoro da Silva in the work The act of reading: psychological foundations for a new pedagogy of reading (2002), on school postulated by Magda Soares in the work Language and school in the social perspective (1989) and on the reflections theorized by Luciano Santana Pereira in the work Life Project: building success in everyday life (2018). The methodology used is that of bibliographic research of the texts published above. As a result of these discussions, possibilities and/or strategies arise to work on reading, the school space and the Life Project with Basic Education students.
