Estudo do tratamento fisioterapêutico na pós reconstrução simultânea dos ligamentos cruzados do joelho - uma revisão da literatura
Resumo
Objetivou-se descrever os principais aspectos do tratamento fisioterapêutico pós-reconstrução simultânea dos ligamentos cruzados do joelho. Para tanto, realizou-se uma revisão de literatura em que foram selecionados artigos nas bases de dados Medline e Lilacs, publicados entre 1997 e 2006, em inglês e português. Os artigos foram selecionados a partir das seguintes palavras chave: “reabilitação”, “ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA)”, “ligamento cruzado posterior (LCP)”, “reconstrução simultânea”, “lesão múltipla dos ligamentos”, “luxação do joelho”, bem como seus correlatos em inglês. Dos 11 artigos selecionados, 6 foram excluídos por serem estudos descritivos, não havendo aplicação do protocolo proposto em grupos de pacientes. Foram incluídos no estudo 5 artigos que descreveram um protocolo de tratamento fisioterapêutico pós-reconstrução simultânea dos ligamentos cruzados. Observou-se que, apesar das divergências relacionadas à progressão do tratamento, os protocolos priorizaram a proteção dos tecidos reconstruídos, dando ênfase à proteção do enxerto do LCP.
