Mulher, trabalho e tecnologia: A participação da mão de obra feminina na inserção mexicana em Cadeias Globais de Valor

Este artigo aborda a questão de gênero na constituição de Cadeias Globais de Valor (CGVs) para o Terceiro Mundo, interseccionando a análise de gênero aos debates a respeito de poder econômico e tecnológico que são basilares a estas cadeias. O objetivo geral do trabalho é verificar como as dinâmicas de gênero que se interseccionam às dinâmicas econômicas em CVGs, e compreender de que forma estas dinâmicas se relacionam e se autorreforçam, com ênfase para o México. Para isto, será realizado um estudo de caso das mudanças e dinâmicas da participação feminina na Indústria Maquiladora de Exportação no México, analisando as dinâmicas e mudanças na composição da mão de obra feminina no setor durante o período de 1980 e 2010.
