Malungos, Candaces, Anti-racist struggleAbstract
Through the textual genre poem, two tributes are made, namely: in the first, malungos (comrades in the fight) who bravely led the Buzios Revolt (1798) in Salvador, Bahia; in the second, candaces (women warriors) who daily fight / fought for the anti-racial cause in Brazil and abroad are hailed. Using free verses, the decolonial legacy of these black personalities that deserve acclaim for their disruptive Afrocentric power is briefly brought up.
