This article presents part of a research about Class Council and Pedagogical Practices held at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Rondônia Technology Campus Cacoal, which aimed to "Understanding the dynamics and structure of the Board Class of courses Integrated Technical to High School of IFRO, with a view to making it a space for reflection on pedagogical practices in a democratic and participative way. " In the text, the space of the class council is discussed as a methodological and evaluative process that assists the development of teaching and learning. The research was developed during the academic year 2016 with teachers and students, presents an intervention and collaborative research with a qualitative approach to action research, in which the collaborators not only informed and thought the reality, but also acted during the research process. It brings as a source of data the bibliographical research, documentary, field diary, and reflexive circles, moments of discussions and interventions made with the collaborators, whose purpose was to investigate, interpret and intervene in the reality with a view to its improvement. Also, it addresses the results achieved with the objectives of this action research, the theme that needs to be further fostered among education professionals, giving direction with reflections and actions to the issues raised during the class councils, favoring new changes to this space that is still seen as a bureaucratic process and not as reflective of pedagogical practice.
