Psychological assessment from a practical perspective

Abstract

This review aims to present the contributions of the book entitled “Psychological Assessment: constructions, knowledge and applications”. This work is the result of the practical experience of teachers and researchers at the Federal University of Paraíba, organized by Washington Allysson Dantas Silva, Shirley de Souza Simeão and Adriana de Andrade Gaião e Barbosa. The book is divided into two units, contributing to the training of psychologists and psychological assessment, demonstrating consistency with current scientific research in the area and the much-needed relationship between theory and professional practice.
