The objective of this study is to conduct an integrative review of the scientific literature regarding the oral health of children with microcephaly, identifying the main oral issues. This study is an integrative literature review based on a systematic search of the PubMed, LILACS, and SciELO databases. After applying inclusion criteria, a total of 10 articles were selected for analysis. Analysis of the 10 selected studies revealed that, in the LILACS database, all articles originated from Brazil; only one was in English, while the others were in Portuguese. In the PubMed database, only one article was published in Brazil, with the others published abroad; notably, all articles in this database were in English. This review synthesized key findings regarding the oral health of children with microcephaly caused by the Zika virus; issues such as delayed tooth eruption, agenesis, orofacial motor difficulties, occlusal problems, and hygiene challenges involving biofilm accumulation highlight the need for preventive care and specialized monitoring. Caregiver education and coordination among healthcare teams are essential to ensure a better quality of life for these children, preventing oral complications and improving their overall health.
