Subjectivity and Truth is a book that integrates the classes of Michel Foucault's Course, taught at the Collège de France (1981). This course was edited by Frédéric Gros and translated, in Brazil, by Rosemary Costhek Abílio. This review discusses the notion of subject inscribed throughout the work, without losing sight of the meanings of subjectivity and truth defended by the author. Through the analysis of the French discourse, it was learned that the process of subjectivation of the contemporary subject is marked by the history of sexuality and its systems of prohibitions and conduct.Downloads
