REPORT OF EXPERIENCE DA ATIVIDADE DE MONITORIA ACADEMICA NA DISCIPLINE INTERDISCIPLINAR PRACTICES OF EXTENSION, RESEARCH AND ENSINO AND ITS CONTRIBUIÇÃO PARA A FORMAÇÃO DO ESTUDANTE DE MEDICINA.

Abstract

The objective of this work was to relate the challenges faced as a monitor of the PIEPE discipline, revealing how the orientation process of two students should take place throughout the semester and debate the impact of these subjects on their medical career. The methodology is based on a descriptive experience report, which aims to portray the experience and the learners carried out in the period from March to June 2024. The support for students is due to online monitoring, tutorial videos on the “Dreamshaper” platform, in-person help during the classrooms and accompaniment of some groups every day. Furthermore, another function was to be a bridge between the teachers and the students, sending messages and raising doubts about the discipline and its evaluative methods. It is through the construction of projects that students are inserted in different learning contexts, being encouraged to raise original ideas, work in groups and provide a basis for action in the social determinants of the health-doing process of a territory. Thus, the PIEPE discipline has a fundamental role in the formation of universities with a more critical view of the world, committed to being agents promoting humanized social and professional changes without any care.
