Condições estruturais de uma escola pública de barra do choça na promoção do letramento digital

Abstract

TRUCTURAL CONDITIONS OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL OF BARRA DO CHOÇA IN THE PROMOTION OF DIGITAL LITERACY. The objective of this paper is to review the literature on digital literacy, and check if the school principal agency of literacy, has sufficient and necessary structure and whether teachers are able to provide students with a new kind of literacy. Starting from the concept of literacy from the perspective of various authors, our work aims to show whether a public school in Barra Shack offers conditions of students in promoting digital literacy. Through a conversation with an employee and some teachers of Portuguese school, we found one that should encourage digital literacy among students has no conditions for such purpose and that the teacher, as a mediator inthis building digital literacy, not is prepared to handle and explore the technological world in favor of this new literacy.
