About the Journal
ReCiC will have its biannual periodicity, offering immediate free access to its content, following the principle that freely providing scientific knowledge to the general public guarantees greater democratization of world knowledge.
The Journal of Computer Science receives submissions in PDF format. We have Word and Tex templates. The submitted manuscripts that meet the editorial policy of ReCiC are sent for evaluation, where the submission will be blind and follow the steps:
Stage 1 (pre-analysis): initial evaluation performed by scientific editors based on originality, relevance, academic quality and relevance of the manuscript.
Stage 2 (external peer review): after the pre-analysis stage, the manuscripts are evaluated by specialists in the subject matter (external peer review). The opinions are then reviewed by the editors judging the approval or refusal of the manuscript. Anonymity will be guaranteed at all stages of manuscript analysis. All papers submitted to the journal will be evaluated by at least three members of the ReCiC Editorial Board. The editorial staff is composed of professors with recognized competence and experience in the area of computing, from the most diverse institutions in Brazil and abroad. The reviewers' opinions indicate whether the article submitted is suitable for publication in the journal according to the following criteria:
1. Originality of the project;
2. Quality of research;
3. Relevance of research to the area of computing;
4. Presentation of ideas (logical order, graphic resources, references, etc ...)
In addition to the opinions, the reviewers also put recommendations to improve the text and should be considered in the development of the revised version of the article (if the article is accepted) or for a new submission (if the article is rejected). Revised versions of the works accepted for publication will be verified by the editorial board and may be returned to their respective authors for possible adjustments.
The Journal of Computer Science is an agency of scientific dissemination in the area of computing and accepts the submission of articles in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Together with the manuscripts, the author (s) shall sign a statement of responsibility for content; the term of transfer of copyright and the term of disclosure of potential conflict of interest. Work will be accepted for the following sections:
Review articles - critical review of the literature on themes pertinent to ReCiC (maximum of 20 pages);
Original articles - research results of empirical, experimental or conceptual nature (maximum of 20 pages);
The works must be unpublished and, therefore, may not have been published or submitted to events or other periodicals. The article must, in fact, represent a contribution to the area, that is, it must deal with a relevant theme, the theoretical basis must be current and reflect the state of the art in the area, the scientific method must be explained and the analyzes and conclusions must be clear and aligned with the proposed objective. Works that involve a pure bibliography review should deal with current issues and the approach should be thorough and analytical.
