El papel de la educación y la innovación en el desempeño organizacional de la educación superior portuguesa

Este estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar el papel de la formación continua y las estrategias de innovación en el desempeño organizacional de las instituciones de educación superior (IES) en Portugal. En el contexto actual de la globalización, las IES deben adoptar estrategias que puedan promover la calidad para aumentar su competitividad, asegurando su sostenibilidad a medio y largo plazo. En términos metodológicos, esta investigación utilizó datos obtenidos de una encuesta por cuestionario dirigida a miembros de IES portuguesas. Se utilizó una regresión lineal múltiple para examinar las relaciones entre las diferentes variables consideradas. Los resultados indican que la formación continua del profesorado, la innovación, así como las estrategias de innovación de las IES influyen significativamente en el desempeño organizacional de estas instituciones en el contexto portugués. La investigación es de particular importancia considerando el papel estratégico de las IES para el crecimiento y desarrollo económico de un país.
