O livro didático de português como instrumento mediador para o letramento

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze a textbook of English language, noting if it uses text genres and how it exploits them. Therefore, the concepts were discussed literacy and literacy, based on what Mary says Kato, Leda V. Tfouni and Magda Soares. Our work also aims to show the definition of genres, for, from then on, we analyze the literacy and appropriation of genres. Anecdotal evidence, during the research, which is of fundamental importance that the Portuguese language teaching build on what you preachliteracy therefore working with genres makes the guest student at school with real situations of use the tongue, thereby facilitating learning.
