POETRY ON SCREEN: A CASE STUDY OF AN AUTISM

Abstract

The paper is an approximation between the interpretation of poetry from the perspective of painting. Interspersed throughout this relationship with the Autism Spectrum Disorder approach - ASD. In view of the detailed and unique perception, referring to this disorder, to understand the particular way or the dialogue between these arts. Recognizing characteristics relevant to this spectrum that do not allow the development of an artistic skill is a proposal of this work. Interpret a poetry without its visual character or if you can obtain this study to enable the appreciation of poetry through the art created by an autistic person. See poetry in the image as possibilities of identification - its various forms are expanded. In this way, our attentive and sensitive look at the world receives yet another stimulus for the recognition of an artist. Focus on a poetry kept inside and exposed in the painting of an autistic person to trigger our sensitivity in what is strange about the appreciation of art. The case study presented highlights the indissoluble link of poetry and painting. Therefore, the main objective of this article is to register poetry as concrete art, participation in reality and a summary based on the construction of iconic images in the autistic universe.
