This essay brings together authorial photographs that portray memory and territoriality as inseparable dimensions of community life. Produced between 2017 and 2025 in the Tukum community, in the Tupinambá de Olivença Territory, in Ilhéus, Bahia, the black-and-white images present fragments constructed from the multiple symbolic relations established between the inhabitants, the territory, and the photographer within the context of this project.
