This paper aims to show the different presentations of the instructions in the genres "cooking recipe”, "medicine instructions", "manual" and "legal contract", in order to outline the possibilities of reading, which result of the instructions. The study combines the importance of these statements with the different forms of teaching used by the writers and the possible readings of texts by their readers. As the main theoretical contribution, this paper elects the theory of speech acts and its proposal of the existence of different actions, which indicate compliance of the form of commands when perceived by the interlocutors, setting different linguistic actions. The main theoretical references reflect the thoughts of Austin (1962) and Searle (2002).
