Évènement enonciative et temporalité: analyse d’un texte publicitaire

In this article, we aim to understand how the meanings of an advertising text that brings information about the personal and literary life of the writer Machado de Assis to commemorate a bank's birthday, questioning why the advertising announcer brings this information. For this, we reflect on the issue of time in the notion of enunciation, and use as theoretical support the Semantics of Event. The (memorable) past mobilized about the writer's life is understood when we relate it to the present and future of the enunciation event.
