Abstract

This article aims to revisit and to discuss theoretical-methodological aspects related to the practice of linguistic analysis in the classroom. In order to do so, it addresses problems of the grammatical normative-prescriptive tradition in the school, confronting them with the current linguistic investigations that propose the reflexive study of the grammatical phenomena and conceive the linguistic analysis as a support tool for the practices of reading and writing. To do so, it presents an example of didactic experience anchored in the linguistic analysis, in order to foment the discussion about the pedagogical possibilities from the grammatical reflection.

Author Biography

Nedja Lima de Lucena, Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP / BRAZIL)

Nedja Lima de Lucena holds a PhD in Language Studies, in the area of concentration in Applied Linguistics, by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2016). He holds a master's degree in Language Studies (2010) and a degree in Letters - Portuguese (2007) by the same institution. She works in the Portuguese Language area, with emphasis on mother tongue teaching and learning. In addition, he inscribed his research in the field of Cognitive-Functional Linguistics, which focuses on the observation, analysis and description of the grammatical phenomena of the language. She is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP).
