Abstract

The students diagnosed with dyslexia exhibit deficits in learning reading and writing equivalent to the yield of other children the same age and school year. Thus, this paper aims to review the scientific literature on intervention strategies most used to minimize the difficulty of learning the reading and writing of students with dyslexia considered. According to the studies analyzed, which serve as a parameter for this review, such as Stanislas Dehaene (2012), Martins and Capellini (2011), FadineandCapellini (2011),among others, the source of this difficulty lies in a deficit in phonological processing. However, with the intervention mechanisms through there are possibilities of overcoming such limitations, so that children minimize their learning difficulties. Regarding these intervention strategies have been observed divergences and convergences in studies explored. There has been significant progress in studies that explore the development of phonological awareness, significantaspect in dyslexic brains, which is considered plausible by most of these studies.
