New periodicity and Dossier "Debates and clashes on women and ethnic-racial diversity in African countries"
n the next issue of ODEERE (April 2022), the thematic Dossier will have the following theme: "Debates and clashes (theoretical and methodological) on women and on ethnic-racial diversity in African countries", with the objective of receiving manuscripts , original and unpublished, that address discussions related to knowledge, procedures and concepts, scientific and tradition developed in the different cultural processes of Africans, diasporic and migratory.
Ethnic-racial issues and social inequalities have created different kinds of problems in 21st century society. Colonialism left sequels that justify the relevance of the existence of this space for discussion and clashes in order to better find paths for a conscious society free from various prejudices. Along with this phenomenon, the social role of women in African cultures is included.
Therefore, it is up to us, as researchers and professors, to foster permanent debates between different sectors of society, especially with African researchers in the awareness of struggle and permanent combat against prejudice (including linguistic) that only delays social development, economic, political and above all human.
Finally, the proposal of this thematic dossier aims to provide readers and researchers with expanded contact with debates and clashes (theoretical and methodological) about women and about ethnic-racial diversity in African countries.
Articles for the Dossier will be from Researchers invited by the organizers.
