Frantz Fanon has performed in the Algerian context as a revolutionary writer having equally contributed to the reflections within cultural studies. His path is considered rich as, far beyond his part in the Second World War and in the struggle for the independence of Algeria, he has also placed himself face the cultural productions of his time. The work of Fanon approached part of the anti-colonialist and revolutionary thought, and on that matter, it was not fully considered by the contemporary African historiography. His biographers and researchers suggested he might have operated more deeply on matters concerning identity and representation for the black African individual. Through the interpretation of a few criticism one tries to understand how the author was made invisible concerning the moves of criticism to colonialism, and still, how the extreme attachment to the racial and ethnic analysis have molded various other interpretations about him. He was a multiple character writer for whom the accomplished path involved the critics to the cultural field (negritude) and a bold political militancy (revolution), letting yet open many reading possibilities about this essential actor-thinker character within the African studies.
Key-words: Frantz Fanon, revolution, Negritude, culture, colonial.
