This article is the result of a research project and recording of graffiti and graffiti inscribed on the walls of Lisbon, and which comes from artistic production and urban policy made by the black Portuguese and immigrant population, which inhabits the city. The result is this writing about the black [female] body in relation -and in activity -with the experience of being and being (in) Lisbon, thinking about how thesemarks of the city affect black bodies, including mine. Given the opportunity, and destined to the recognition of data about what it is like to be on the other side of the Atlantic, in any city. Through the streets of Damaia, through the streets of Linha de Sintra, of Cova da Moura, I saw my body in protagonism with other bodies. And from this necessary vision, I articulated a series of images, which reveal the marks of a population like me, and different from me, registered on the walls of these specific cities, which live and inhabit the golden Lisbon, of gentrifications, of excessive tourists and of the many small inner worlds -that build and feed it. Washing, graffiti, pregnancy, shaking and grafting.
