This text attempts to explain a little the complexity of P'urhépecha Spirituality and the distinction compared to currents of thought in Western philosophy that show an idea of spirituality based on the opposition between matter and spirit. The central idea is to explain that P'urhépecha Spirituality is beyond a concept and that the P'urhé man finds deep roots to live a harmonious relationship of reciprocity and gratitude towards nature, towards divinity and for all beings. humans. The text is developed under reflections by Baracs (2017) and Gilberti (1559), with a qualitative methodology, from a perspective of engaged anthropology, from stories lived by the author. As a result of the discussion, it is clear that the P'urhépecha culture cannot be imbued if its spirituality and religiosity are not taken into account.
