Abstract

This is a review of the work SANTOS, Antônio Bispo dos. A terra dá, a terra quer. São Paulo: Ubu Editora/PISEAGRAMA, 2023. The book is divided into six sections and presents the thoughts of the quilombola leader Nego Bispo, in confluence with the knowledge and ways of living of his community, the Quilombo Saco Curtume, in São João do Piauí (PI).

Author Biography

calu teixeira coelho, Colégio Pedro II

Licenciado em música pela Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2015), especialista em musicoterapia pelo Conservatório Brasileiro de Música (2018) e em Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais pelo Colégio Pedro II (2023), mestre em musicoterapia pelo Instituto Música, Arte y Proceso, de Vitoria-Gasteiz, Espanha (2021) e mestrando em Educação na Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (ProPEd - UERJ). Membro do Grupo de estudos e pesquisa (re)imaginação da escola e do futuro com as infâncias e juventudes (GEPRIF). Atua como músico, professor de música e musicoterapeuta. Desde 2021 é professor efetivo do Colégio Pedro II, no Rio de Janeiro.
