This is an account of my experiences in Mozambique and Angola, countries that will celebrate their fiftieth anniversary of independence in 2025. I highlight Mozambique, a country I have visited several times and with which I have a deep sense of belonging. I have created several initiatives with Mozambique that demonstrate the cultural convergences with our country.
