Tabajara ethnicity is currently undergoing through a process of ethnogenesis and struggle, seeking its self-affirmation and recognition as an indigenous people. They are also fighting for the resumption of their lands which have been taken from them due to a colonization process conducted by ambitious land owners. Tabajara profecy arose during this process, bringing an revival of their spirituality, culture and rituals, and, by doing so, it became possible to regroup a population which was spread and far from its origins. As a consequence, the Toré ritual starts receiving great importance and becomes indispensable to these natives. The present paper is based in the work of authors such as Eliane Farias and Lusival Barcellos, researchers of the indiegnous ethnicities from Paraíba. This research's aim was to analyze Tabajara ritualistics briefly and its relation with the Toré ritual, making use of bibliographical data.
