The article presents the relations between the kilombo People, health education and environmental racism, seen as a face of socio-spatial segregation that is also racial. Based on the notion of the importance of kilombos for the foundation of Brazilian cities, it is necessary to overcome racism in society and in the ways of thinking and producing science, menthal health and health education that must necessarily consider the teachings and knowledge of kilombola Peoples.
