Resumen

Este artículo es un mapeo inicial de los impactos del fotoperiodismo por parte del grupo que se conoció como "The Bang Bang Club" en Sudáfrica, en el período de transición entre el final de la política de apartheid y las primeras elecciones democráticas del país, en 1994. ¿Qué papel asume el registro fotográfico, con el sentido de realidad que impone a lo que presenta, en la construcción de la memoria política sudafricana?
