The use of brain stimulants is common among many students as a means of enhancing focus, reasoning, attention, and willingness to study. Given this issue, which has become a concern in academia, this article aims to conduct a brief literature review on this topic in order to build a theoretical basis to support the discussion. The methodology adopted is quantitative and qualitative, as numerical data were collected through a questionnaire, and the discussion of the results was conducted based on the theoretical assumptions outlined in the literature review. The data obtained suggest that most participants use various brain stimulants and have previously or currently experience problems with concentration and focus in their studies. Finally, it was possible to observe some of the everyday and often harmful realities that permeate the lives of young students who are surrounded by pressures, demands, and demands placed on them by family, society, and even the individual themselves.
