Adoptando una metodología analítica y cualitativa, de características amigables con el medio ambiente, se observa que los paisajes sagrados son áreas de tierra que tienen significado o trascendencia particular para los pueblos indígenas. En el estado de Ogun, Nigeria, la Ciudad de la Redención se está convirtiendo rápidamente en una conocida atracción de peregrinación. Los ecosistemas de humedales con alta diversidad biológica comprenden aproximadamente el 20% de la superficie terrestre total que abarca el corredor de humedales de 20,4 km y evalúan el potencial para la regeneración biofílica y la revitalización del entorno natural centrada en las personas.
