El sistema de resolución de conflictos wayuu y la toma de decisiones: liderazgo educativo intercultural

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to reflect about intercultural educational leadership and
approach the conflict resolution in school from the perspective of wayuu normative as
an alternative. It approaches related about the resolution of the conflicts in the school
from alternative models, specifically, the wayuu regulations. In order to this teaching
leadership promotes the appreciation different, respect and dialogue of knowledge
as a mechanism to promote cultural identity. The work was carried out in the
department of La Guajira, Colombia, during our stay there to teach courses, workshops
and seminars on intercultural education to teachers from different areas of the
department from 2017 to 2022. The research is formalized from the qualitative
paradigm, based on the ethnographic method. The data collected to make the
pertinent reflection in this work are the product of the activities carried out and our
experiences with the Wayuu teachers. In conclusion, we have that Wayuu teachers
must contribute to the preservation of Wayuu conflict resolution norms in the
educational context, understanding that a healthy coexistence also implies having to
resort to inclusive norms. This will promote leadership from the ethnic cultural matrix.
