The conflict of meaning in enunciation which refers to the Pope Benedicto XVI

This paper analyses the designation as a process of a social identification, based in theory of the Semantics of Enunciation. To do so, the designation analyzed are there which relate to the actual Pope Benedicto XVI, on that moment when he was elected by the conclave of the Catholic Church, by the end of April, 2005. The analyses demonstrated that these designation, when functioning in the present the moment of the event, retake another memorable one, mobilizing sayings and other meanings and, in a consequence, identify and relate to a person in a certain event, distinguishing him as the subject.
