DELEUZIAN INSPIRATION: ON LEARNING AND DISAPPOINTMENT

The problem of learning runs through some works by Gilles Deleuze, even though he did not raise this issue for education and its practical noises. Leaving the formalist and psychologizing readings, learning for him passes through dark movements that are beyond a conscious and linear state. Would learning have the intellect, objectivities, rules and defined modes as a priority way leading somewhere? Contrary to pragmatic pedagogical common sense, through Deleuzian philosophical inspirations, the hypothesis outlined in this essay is that there is a discontinuous disappointment in learning that paradoxically calls for other creative ways of thinking about the problem when the body lurks. The text is inspired by works from the middle period of the thinker, focusing on Proust and signs (2010), arguing that learning is in a complex relationship with what differs in the body violated by the shots of the outside, inflated in means to the perceptions that drag the body sensibly into unknown spheres, implying looking at chaos, as well as thinking and feeling and the fable.
