In this essay, we seek to explore the potential of the Theory of Complex Adaptive Systems to explain aspectos of Language Acquisition, especially the written modality. Initially, we investigated the most recurrent concepts as well as the foundations of this theory in the literature documented in the area. Then, after analysis trials, we propose parameters for analyzing emerging aspects of initial learning to read and write.
