Abstract

Abstract: The present study is part of the field of Law and Literature, specifically in Law in Literature and its interlocutions with music. It aims to investigate the violations of dictatorial Brazilian policy that still persist in the Democratic State of Brazilian Law, to be analyzed from the narrative of the song Pra não diz que não falei das flores, by Geraldo Vandré. In order to do so, the theoretical assumptions will be explained and relevant aspects of music related to violence against fundamental rights and guarantees that took place in 1964 will be presented, in order to identify how this violence is thematized in the work, as well as to bring the possible violations that still occur today. It is concluded that there is still the fear of a dictatorship due to the frequent violations that the Democratic State has been suffering from actions supported by the current government, mainly related to fundamental rights, attacks on the Constitution and the possible dismantling of the country. The method used was phenomenological and as for the means of research, bibliographic.
