Abstract

This review deals with the book “Ética, estética e representações sociais”, which makes a thematic analysis of the referred book. In the work, the authors investigate different objects under the signs of ethics, aesthetics and social representations, passing through themes such as: morality, the issue of suicide, the relationship of childhood with nature and reaching the Marxist philosophy of history and social representations. The innovative character and, at the same time, the challenge of this collection revolves around the proposal to correlate such axes and employ them in the analysis of the different objects investigated. This is a work that has a variety of perspectives, with a remarkable quality in the approaches carried out by the authors that add a lot to the results of their studies.
