WORKING WITH VIDEOS IN MATH CLASSES IN THE CONTEXT OF PIBID

This work aims to present the experience lived by the authors, in the Mathematics subproject of the Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) (Institutional Program of Scholarships for Teaching Initiation) of the Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (UESB) (State University of Southwest Bahia), campus Vitória da Conquista - Bahia, in the period of Remote Learning. The experience in video production mobilized the three cores of the subproject, giving undergraduates the opportunity to work with mathematics in a more interactive way, trying to contribute to the teaching and learning of elementary school students during remote teaching. For the production of videos, free applications and software available to the public were used, and due to the ease in handling the interfaces of these digital platforms, it was possible to work with the contents that the teachers developed in the synchronous context of the classes, which led to the elaboration of digital materials, that would support the asynchronous study of primary school students. For the Pibidians, the creation of videos made it possible to succinctly present mathematical concepts, as well as examples, in short videos to be made available through social networks of the mathematics subproject for students.
