The purpose of this study is to understand the class struggle, within the category Work in Marx and its actuality in the stage of current capitalism, marked by the exploitation of man by the man. This analysis nature’s is bibliography and will mainly appeal to two Brazilian Marxist authors dealing with the issue of work: Antunes (1995) and Lessa (2012). In addition, this work analyze the foundational concept of labor for Marx, the process of proletarian organization to push the class struggle in the present and the necessary clashes of the workers' organization for the rupture with Capital and the current mode of production. In this sense, two works by Marx are analyzed: "Manifesto of the Communist Party" (2007) and "Wage Labour and Capital" (1980), to substantiate the question of class identity within the fragmentation of labor in contemporaneity, which attempts to mask the process of class struggle and the seizure of power from the proletariat, who only sells its labor force to ensure its subsistence.
