Resumen

The study focuses on teacher training within the ambit of the Pedagogy course and has as its aim identifying the profile of the incoming students, and their concept of infant teaching. The research presents a qualitative approach, of an exploratory character, and used as an instrument for the collection of data a questionnaire applied to a group of thirty students in the first semester. The data collected research show that the profile found is that of a group of young people and who seek a profession, the complexity, political and social, and took a position in favor of infant schooling with responsibility, sensitivity and ethics.
